CFBBA Website Restored After Service Outage


UPDATE, 9/6, 12AM

We have communicated with all players that registered during the 4 day window of lost data and facilitated re-registration.  We have updated all payments made during that 4 day window and tied them back to the appropriate accounts.  At this point, we are caught up with all roster additions and corrections.  Parents that created new accounts last week, as a part of registration, may need to go back in and update some of their personal information, and this may require requesting a temporary password.  This can be done by entering your email address in the log-in screen, and clicking the "forgot my password" link just below.

Thank you for your patience and understanding while we worked with our vendor, SI Play, to get this all sorted out!

Now, let's get ready for a GREAT season of baseball!!

UPDATE, 9/3, 9:41am:  

Unfortunately, any data that was entered between Tuesday, 8/27 @ 5AM CT and Saturday, 8/31 @ 11:25 PM CT is lost.  Any admin type information will need to be re-entered, such as practice schedules, snack entries for practices, pictures of players, etc...  We are working very hard to reach out and re-register any players that registered during this time.  Fortunately, given that everyone that registered last week did so via the waiting list, we have all of the data needed to get us back on track; however, we will need your patience and understanding as we begin the tedious process of making these updates.  ACTION ITEM:  If Head Coaches and Team Managers will check their rosters for missing players, that were there last week, and email with that information, it would be helpful to use that information to double check what we have already.  Thank you for your patience.

Saturday morning the website and league management software was affected by a service outage at Amazon Web Services (AWS).  This was a rather large outage at AWS which has affected thousands of people and companies across the country.  CFBBA vendor, SI Play, recognized the issue and restored our website early Sunday morning.  Unfortunately, some recent updates and information has been lost and we will need to rebuild some of the content of our website and league management database.  Please accept our apology as we spend the next few hours restoring the league infomation to the status just prior to the service outage.  PLEASE note that some of the practice schedules entered by team coaches and administrators may have been lost.  Thank you for your patience as we work through this issue.
