FALL 2019 – Important Dates
August 19th – Fall Registration Deadline (FIRM)
- After this time, a late fee of $25 will be applied; NO EXCEPTIONS
August 24th – All draft players should be assigned by this date
August 26th – All black-out forms to be emailed to Head Coaches & Team Managers (please be sure that you are registered in one of these roles in order to receive the communication)
Coaches / Team Managers: Please poll parents regarding school functions and the like. You must plan ahead, as there will be NO RESCHEDULES, unless weather-related. Things to mention when polling parents would be standardized testing dates, planned vacations, school functions, etc… These blackouts will be used to reschedule any rained-out games, so please be thorough and keep the scheduler updated throughout the season. More instructions will be included with the black-out form and at the MANDATORY coaches’ meeting.
August 28th – MANDATORY Coaches’ Meeting – ALL AGE GROUPS
Farmers Branch Rec Center, 14050 Heartside Place, Farmers Branch, TX, 75234, Pecan Room, 7:00pm – Each team MUST send a representative!
Some things to be covered: Practice field sign-ups, Free Week sign up, Fall Tournament, Scheduling, Equipment hand-out (MUST attend in order to get your baseballs), break out meeting to cover age group specific rules with your VP, and other general/important information
August 30th – All coaches should have contacted players by this date
August 31st – All black-out forms due back from coaches by midnight, firm deadline
September 9th – Game Schedules Posted
September 16th – Fall Season Begins
October 19-20 – 3rd Annual Tater Tourney (Reg open 9/9, deadline 10/14 – more details soon)
November 17th – Fall Season Ends
